HSN Celebrates National Wear Red Day

Responsibility

Heart disease and stroke cause 1 in 3 deaths among women each year, killing approximately one woman every 80 seconds.  Fortunately, 80 percent of cardiac and stroke events may be prevented with education and action.  Today, HSN partnered with The American Heart Association to celebrate National Wear Red Day and help raise awareness about heart disease being the No. 1 killer of women.   HSN team members from across the company wore red during a campus walk with HSN President, Mike Fitzharris, to take steps toward a healthier heart and lifestyle.  The American Heart Association’s “Heart Mascot” even joined in the fun to help cheer on employees.

HSN Cares is the heart of everything we do at HSN and our team members are passionate supporters of the American Heart Association, generating over $2 million since 2012 as part of the annual Tampa Bay Heart Walk.
