HSN Outlets and Emplorium Raise Money to Support CASA
Recently, HSN Cares worked with HSN outlet stores and the HSN Employee store, The Emplorium, to raise money to help fight domestic violence in the Tampa-Clearwater-St. Petersburg, Florida, region. Throughout the month of May, we offered HSN customers at designated outlets and the HSN Emplorium a coupon redeemable for $10 off purchases of $60 or more (excluding local sales tax) when they made a donation of $10 or more to the non-profit organization CASA.
We set an ambitious goal of raising $40,000 to fight domestic violence in May—and we ultimately raised a grand total of over $42,000. We couldn’t have done this without the generous support of our wonderful customers and the hard work of all our HSN team members, so a big thank you to everyone who participated in this important community initiative!
“The energy, spirit and dedication shown by HSN is amazing,” said CASA’s CEO, Lariana Forsythe. “Our partnership has been defined by empathy and a strong desire to truly heal and save lives. I know their public support of CASA has put critical information into the hands of people who need it, empowering them with information. “
CASA was founded in 1977 to provide safety, empowerment, and prevention programs to help end domestic violence. Through advocacy and social change, CASA is working to create safer communities through actions like operating a 24-hour hotline and emergency shelter, offering programs such as support groups, economic empowerment, and legal advocacy services, as well as community and corporate training and more.
HSN Cares is proud to partner with CASA. Their efforts to end domestic violence so every home can be a safe place goes hand in hand with our mission of empowering women and helping families in times of need. Thank you again to our generous customers for their support and our dedicate staff for all their hard work!
