HSN Team Members Get Crafty With Anna Griffin
To help celebrate HSN’s 41st birthday this month, we kicked off the festivities on campus with our first team member activation – a private crafting session with the Craft Queen herself, Anna Griffin. Team members received the opportunity to sign up for a spot – and 10 lucky winners were selected to join Anna for a one-hour crafting class.
Anna hand-made each winner a packet that included all of the supplies they would need to create two greeting cards. The kits included everything from personal designed embellishments from Anna to foam adhesive, card stock and more. For the next hour Anna took the team members step by step through the process of creating their cards explaining the difference between a sticker and a die cut, how to properly adhere foam adhesive and the inspiration behind some of her designs.
She even gave them personal tips and tricks into card making such as a professional stationery tip on how to properly place a card inside of an envelope face up, so that the recipient can see the front of the card as soon as they open it.
Anna Griffin was honored with our HSN Star Award for 2017 Vendor of the Year, honoring exceptional vendor achievement, and was also nominated for, and won, the award for 2017 Customer Experience.
