Celebrating Women Who Dream, Dare, and Do: International Women's Day 2018

Today is a special day for all of us at HSN. You see, for nearly one hundred years, the world has set aside March 8 as International Women’s Day, a time for celebrating the achievements of women.  At HSN, we work every day to help make these achievements possible by empowering women to Dream, Dare and Do.

We believe in women who dream big, and for forty years, we’ve been working to help make these dreams come true: Discovering female entrepreneurs and helping bring their businesses to life by giving them the platform to share their product and their story.  Today, HSN is one of America’s most trusted sources for entrepreneurs looking to showcase their small businesses and product and receive the guidance they need to achieve their American Dream.

We’re taking these efforts to the next level through our American Dreams Initiative.  We’re conducting American Dreams Symposia across the country and training a new generation of leaders at our scholarship-supported American Dreams Academies.  Together with our partners, the University of Tampa and Quirky, we’re championing female entrepreneurship, creating entrepreneurial environments where women can thrive, and collaborating with strategic partners to find, educate and train women (and some men too!) as they bring their products to market.

We want more women to dare to live their dreams, whatever they may be.  To make that possible, we’re encouraging every member of the HSN community – customers, employees, and partners alike – to step up and “do” by joining HSN Cares.  We’re fond of saying that HSN Cares is the heart of everything we do.  Working together with trusted organizations and volunteers we are able to make a difference with hope, love and support for women and families in times of need.

Today, we’re asking members of our community to donate to a great organization that does amazing work empowering women across the globe: Nest (www.buildanest.org).

HSN, QVC and participating vendors will donate a minimum of $325,000 to benefit this organization!

From our support of the Good+ Foundation, to the more than $12 million we’ve donated to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, to our partnerships with groups like the American Red Cross and Habitat for Humanity, HSN Cares is empowering women who do to do good for other women and their families.
