Garcelle Beauvais Launches Garcelle at Home, Bringing a Never-Ending Vacation to Your Front Door

Reflecting on her roots growing up in Haiti, Garcelle was inspired to introduce a casual chic vibe to her modern, tropical lifestyle collection. What prompted you to venture into home décor?
Choosing my favorite piece is like choosing my favorite child. I am obsessed with so many items from my line but if I had to choose it would be the handcrafted seagrass wall décor. It makes a beautiful tropical statement and I love the pop of color at the border.
Is there a special meaning behind the brand name, “Garcelle at Home”?
I wanted my brand to be an extension of me and my style of décor and my love of color and style so it made sense that the new line would be called Garcelle at Home.
Tell us more about what inspired the collection?
When I think about growing up in Haiti I think of the colors, textures and patterns. I also wanted to use the natural elements of sea and sky. I love the idea of transforming your home into a tropical oasis.
What was it like working with the HSN team to create Garcelle at Home?
HSN is a great partner to launch my new home decor line with. They understand their customer, they got my vision, and we were able to collaborate and create a beautiful modern tropical line together that’s both stylish and chic.
Do you have any summertime home decorating tips?
My summer decorating tips are: don’t be afraid of color and texture, and most of all have fun.
What’s your favorite summertime tradition?
My favorite summertime tradition is spending the day at the beach with my kids and friends with no phones – just connecting, eating, playing games, and enjoying each other’s company.
