HSNi Builds Local Relationship into National Fundraising Campaign for Habitat for Humanity

-- HSN, Ballard Designs, TravelSmith and Improvements Collaborate to Raise Funds and Awareness in June --

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., June 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — As construction continues on HSN’s sixth Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas County home, its parent company, HSN, Inc., today launched a national month-long campaign in support of Habitat for Humanity International through HSNi Cares. HSNi Cares partners with local, national and global organizations to engage our customers, employees and partners in our mission to empower women and help families in times of need.

Together, HSN, Ballard Designs, TravelSmith and Improvements will promote Habitat’s vision of a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Customers from these brands will have the opportunity to make a donation in support of the campaign when making purchases online and over the phone throughout the month of June.

HSNi employees each receive two days of paid time off for community service annually. HSNi employees volunteer more than 26,000 hours in local communities each year. As part of the campaign, Ballard Designs, HSN, Improvements and TravelSmith will raise awareness and funds for Habitat among their customers. Additionally, HSN has donated 5 percent of all purchases made on the HSN Credit Card on June 1 to Habitat for Humanity, up to $50,000.
